Hi! I'm Heather Riley, Founder of
Visualizing Potential.
Â
I am a creative visionary, movement facilitator, and visual thinker who believes in redefining work, play, and productivity on our own terms. For much of my life, I followed a path shaped by external guidance and tradition, doing my best to fulfill a meaningful role in the world. While my journey was rewarding, it often felt structured in ways that didn’t fully align with my deeper creative and intuitive nature. I struggled to reconcile my sense of purpose with an internal longing for more freedom, expression, and ease.
Over time, I realized that fulfillment doesn’t come from following a prescribed path—it comes from creating our own. I shifted from striving to cultivating expectancy, embracing creativity as my compass and intuition as my guide.
Now, my work is about helping others reclaim their creativity, trust their inner knowing, and build work that feels like freedom.
I follow my own design by bridging the SEEN & UNSEEN
Â
Being a 5/1 Manifestor in Human Design, I naturally sense what’s ready to shift and help others break free from old patterns by bridging the logical and the felt, the seen and the unseen.
I thrive on big-picture thinking and deep investigation, which allows me to help others recognize the presence of resistance and move toward clarity, creativity, and action.

Â
I also deeply value learning, curiosity, and an experimentation mindset. Growth happens at the edges of what we know, and I believe in embracing the unknown, following sparks of inspiration, and treating life as a creative laboratory where we are always evolving. My work is about helping others, especially creatives and women, break free from limiting narratives and design lives that resonate deeply with who they are. I believe work can feel like play, business can be a joyful act of creation, and productivity is most powerful when it flows in harmony with our true nature.
I believe life is meant to be a continuous LEARNING JOURNEY
Â
I recognize that education is not a single path—it takes many forms, each offering its own wisdom. My early studies were rooted in the intellect, but over the past 20 years, I have immersed myself in embodiment practices, integrating what I’ve learned while also deconstructing the blind spots and limitations that can come with formal education and societal conditioning.
I am fascinated by the process of learning itself, particularly experiential and somatic learning, where knowledge is felt and lived rather than just understood. Below, I’ve listed my formal training, but my most profound education has come through nature, art, travel, deep relationships, and the courage to step beyond my comfort zone.

What I carry in my HEART...
I thrive when connected to my PLAYFUL spirit
Â
At my core, I am an explorer—of movement, creativity, and the world itself. I grew up immersed in the wild beauty of the Sawtooth Mountains in Idaho, backpacking and camping with my family, where I learned to love the rhythm of nature and the freedom of open landscapes. That same spirit of adventure carries into everything I do today.
Movement is one of my greatest joys. Beyond dance, I love aerials, acro yoga and paddle boarding, exploring the interplay of strength, trust, and fluidity. I also facilitate a women’s-only ecstatic dance, a space for deep embodiment, expression, and connection. Creativity fuels my soul—I design ritual art installations using natural elements, weaving intention and transformation into each piece. Â
Another powerful element of my work is the use of dress and costuming as ritual art. I believe that what we wear can be a tool for self-expression, integration, and transformation, helping us embody aspects of ourselves that are ready to be seen and reclaimed. I have curated a collection of clothing for the community, offering it as a resource for deep process work in my coaching and facilitation. When appropriate, I invite women to explore this practice, using adornment as a way to step into new narratives, release old identities, and embody their full spectrum of being.
My curiosity has taken me across the world, seeking inspiration in different cultures, landscapes, and creative practices. Whether I'm traveling, creating, or moving, I believe in living playfully, courageously, and in deep connection with the body, the earth, and the many expressions of self waiting to emerge.
